Here are items that we are working on for a steampunk project. Most of the leather used is harness leather. All of the projects have been hand sewn.
There are cartridge holders of various calibers and belt pouches of various designs, including one that uses brass hinges and clasps. And finally, the wrist rockets.
First up on the page is a shell holder, 7" wide by 2-3/4" tall, with loops to hold seven .338 Winchester Magnum shells. With the included empty brass shells, this set of loops is $20.
Next is a larger shell holder, 6" wide by 4-1/4" tall, with loops for four 50-caliber Browning Machine Gun (BMG) rounds. The rounds shown are "dummy" aluminum rounds, machined to precisely match the real rounds. With dummy rounds, this set of loops is $92, empty is $20.
The first pouch is semi-circular, approximately 6-1/2" wide, 4-1/2" tall, and 2" thick, for $30.
The dark brown horizontal box pouch with y-shaped gold tab is approximately 6-3/4" wide by 3-1/4" tall by 2-1/2" thick, for $40.
The oval-bodied gold pouch with brass hinges and catches is approximately 6" wide by 6" tall by 2-3/4" thick. We're not sure if we'll be making others like it, so for $62.50 you'll be buying yourself something unusual.
The next pouch is a cute little thing with a soft side gusset, in gold to match the front tab. It is approximately 3-1/2" wide, 4-1/2" tall, and 1-1/2" thick, for $20.
The final gold pouch with dark brown tab is fairly stiff, made from heavy harness leather, with double-thickness sides. This pouch is approximately 5" wide by 6-1/2" tall by 2-3/4" thick, for $50.
Wrist-Rockets hold two 50-caliber BMG and two .375 HH dummy rounds.
Shown here is a Mark I Wrist-Rocket, with a plain edge and snap closure. This particular example is Ron's so it only has one set of snaps. Yours will have three rows on one side. MkI Wrist-Rockets are $22.50 empty, $78.50 with rounds.
We're working on pictures of our Mark II Wrist-Rockets which have a bound, rolled edge, and a laced closure for better sizing allowance. MkII Wrist-Rockets are $50 empty, and $102 with rounds
We have also made a map case with shoulder strap, with details to coordinate with the Sam Browne Belt. The map case is approximately 25" long (to hold a 24" document), and 2-1/2" in diameter, for $125.
